Massage Therapy
- Massage Therapy utilizes manual manipulations of the body’s soft tissues (muscles, connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments) to return clients to a state of balance. Massage works to relieve fascial adhesions and put the body back into a state of physical, physiologic and mental relaxation. It may also help increase blood flow to enhance the healing processes and return muscles to a healthy relaxed state. Improved range of motion and reduced tension on tendons, muscles, and joints that can create painful patterns throughout the body are also benefits of massage therapy. Our massage therapist Rachel specializes in Therapeutic Medical Massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Active Release Technique (ART), Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release Therapy, and Pediatric Massage Therapy.
