- IASTM is a procedure in which a stainless steel hand-held instrument is used to treat soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves) dysfunction such as scar tissue, adhesions, edema and hypertonicity.
- The goal of this method of treatment is to initiate a healing response in the local tissues and improve mobility.
